I am single woman in 50s and bought this for my home gym which includes recumbent bike, weight bench, few dumbbells and free weights. Have lower back issues and this works well for me; includes ab work as a bonus! My 10 year old son and I put it together relatively easily; would have been nice to have some verbal directions/tips to go along with the picture, but we managed OK. Doesn't take up much room in my basement, easy to load/unload weight plates.
